We have developed our digital skills holiday camps with one key goal in mind: opportunity – opportunity for children to explore a number of extracurricular subjects – perhaps they will discover an area that they would like to pursue and specialise in!
All our subjects are centred around digital & practical activities providing students with experiences that will provide them with a variety of skills, software and systems knowledge that will hopefully help them develop a passion along the way! Each camp is designed to be fun and educational where the children will work on a themed project which will also help them to develop essential skills such as team-work and communication as well as learning deeper knowledge of the digital skills topic itself.
We are working with our collaborative schools to help us reach their communities over the summer and half-term holidays by hosting our Digital Skills Holiday Camps. We do not open this up to students outside of that school unless they have agreed to do so. This could also be a way of you raising some funds for the school!
“Variety Is The Spice Of Life” – William Cowper
We provide a number of technical topics which we split into two streams which are:
Your child will learn key skills, including Project planning, Creative Design, Web Technology and Coding skills, as they develop their website from the ground up.
Your child will learn how to record and edit videos as well as learn the many different types animation and make their own animations & videos.
If you are a parent who would like their school to host a camp you can of course ask your school first if they are collaborating with Community Coding Club. If not, on our “contact us” page you can find our email and phone number where you can leave the information of your school and we will contact them on your behalf to ask. The link to our contact page is here.
If you are a school interested in the benefits of hosting a holiday camp please reach us through our Contact us page here.
You can enquire about the camp through our contact page, if we’re working with your child’s school we will link you with all the relevant information.
If not we can enquire on your behalf with your school. The link to our contact page is here.
All of our Trainers have an enhanced DBS and have experience of teaching at one of our collaborative schools.
Yes we do! Our Digital Skills Clubs are the nucleus, that enables us to collaborate with Schools for FREE. Click here to find out more
